Monday – Fun-day Monday

If you are looking for a physical literacy-based program where your child s up and moving about, you may want to register them for this program. Focused on being physically active as well as using their imagination.

 

Tuesday – Doodlebugs

  • Grades K-3
  • Tuesdays 3:00-4:00

The Doodlebug program is more than just an arts and crafts class; it’s a journey of self-discovery, friendship, and endless possibilities. Join us as we doodle, create, and explore the boundless world of imagination together. We celebrate each child’s unique creations by providing a variety of materials and mediums, allowing young artists to experiment with colours, shapes, and textures. Each session is filled with fun and imaginative projects that spark curiosity and inspire self-expression.

 

Wednesday – Master Minds

  • Grades 4-7
  • Wednesday 3:00-4:00
  • Registration Required

If your child is interested in STEAM type activities: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. this program mat be for them. We will be gathering and using evidence to create knowledge or solve problems. STEAM learning happens naturally everyday as we explore, play, and try new things.

 

Thursday – Lego Club

  • Grades K-3
  • Thursday 3:00-4:00

A STEAM based program where LEGO is used in fun and interesting ways for your child to put their imagination to work. So many things to build and creativity to discover while mastering many emerging skills such as problem solving, spatial skills, and understanding semi-complex tasks. Using three-dimension objects enables young minds the ability to plan ahead and make the necessary alterations so the pieces fit together.

 

Friday – Foodie Fridays

  • Grades 4-7
  • Fridays 3:00-4:00
  • Registration Required

This cooking program helps develop fine motor skills and eye/hand coordination by chopping, mixing, squeezing, and spreading. Cooking encourages thinking, problem solving, and creativity. Your child will learn basic cooking skills while creating classic favourites as well as a few sweet treats.

 

Our after school programs inspire kids to create, meet new friends and have fun. They are all free, require registration and each participant must have their own library card and bring it with them to the class.
